Every Wind Of Doctrine.
It is a serious matter to represent God and Christ in one way, then find that our understanding of the major teachings and fundamental doctrines of the Scriptures was in error, and then after that, to go back to the very doctrines that, by years of study, we had thoroughly determined to be in error. Christians cannot be vacillating - 'wishy-washy' - about such fundamental teachings. What confidence can one put in the sincerity or judgment of such persons? --The Watchtower, May 15, 1976, page 298.
It can be said that Watchtower Society doctrine exists in a constant state of flux. Watchtower doctrine is fluid, but more than that, Watchtower doctrine often changes in a way such that new Watchtower doctrine actually contradicts previous Watchtower doctrine. In other words, what is taught and believed and held as absolute truth from God today, may be viewed as complete falsehood - complete "darkness" - tomorrow. Indeed, the wonderful "truths" brought to your doorstep by Jehovah's Witnesses today may in fact be in complete opposition to "truth" the next time the Witnesses show up at your door.

Out of Context
We are always being reminded by the Society that we should "make sure that [our] use of quotations and statistics harmonizes with the context from which they are taken." (Ministry School Book, Ch. 40, para. 11) And they absolutely right. We don't want to be so desperate for secular backing that harmonizes with our beliefs that we misquote someone. That shows dishonesty on our part.
When he was on earth, Jesus Christ noted the hypocrisy of the priests. They always told the people what they should do but then failed to do it themselves. He said, "All the things they tell you, do and observe, but do not do according to their deeds, for they say but do not perform." (Matt. 23:3) Why would I quote this Scripture in regard to taking quotes out of context? Keep reading

Jehovah's Witnesses, Worlds Most Successful Network Marketing Company?
I think that most people are familiar with that door knocking cult the Jehovah's witnesses, their persistence is a topic for much humour and sometimes anger and frustration as well. Anyone who has actually stood and talked with these people on the doorstep or even invited them in, will know that they come across as generally decent people, ( which in most cases is certainly true) and that they appear to have a very deep knowledge and understanding of the bible. However talk with them long enough and those who have also experienced the sales pitch from an Amway salesman ( or any other network marketing group ) will begin to see a startling similarity. So this raises a question, what if anything are they trying to sell?

"The Always on a Saturday" blog has an interesting article titled "Things No Jehovah’s Witness Will Ever Tell You". Here are two examples listed in that article.
Flattery is one of our favorite tools we use to win you over. We like to make you feel special, so that you continue to feel good about listening to us. When it is your turn to preach, we will expect you to use this same tool on yet others.
We would have you believe that the brothers love each other. In actuality, rivalry is widespread amongst congregation members, as each tries to out-do and outshine the other. After all, there are 'privileges' on offer, and these will only be yours if you tow the Watchtower line.
